Our Constitution
Constitution of Caritas Charity Foundation
Adopted in principle — subject to review and amendment by the Board of Trustees.
Article I — Name and Identity
The organization shall be known as Caritas Charity Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "the Foundation"). The Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization established to serve communities through charity, education, health outreach, and social support.
Article II — Vision and Mission
Vision: A compassionate society where every person has access to dignity, opportunity, and care.
Mission: To empower communities through charitable service, volunteer action, and sustainable partnerships.
Article III — Objectives
- To provide relief and support to vulnerable persons and communities.
- To mobilize members, volunteers, and partners in pursuit of the Foundation's mission.
- To promote transparency, accountability, and good governance in all activities.
- To cooperate with lawful institutions and partners in furtherance of charitable goals.
Article IV — Membership
Membership shall be open to persons who accept the aims of the Foundation, complete registration, and fulfill membership obligations as determined by the Executive Board.
Article V — Governance
The Foundation shall be governed by a Board comprising the President, Secretary, Chairman, and other executive officers as defined in the Executive structure. Officers shall serve terms as prescribed by the Board and may be reappointed subject to performance and eligibility.
Article VI — Meetings
General meetings shall be held at least once annually. Special meetings may be convened by the Executive Board or upon written request of one-third of active members.
Article VII — Finance
All funds received by the Foundation shall be applied solely toward charitable purposes. Financial records shall be maintained in accordance with applicable law and audited as required by the Board.
Article VIII — Amendments
This constitution may be amended by a resolution of the Executive Board, subject to ratification at a general meeting. Amendments shall be published on the Foundation website upon approval.
